thats a pretty general rule to be honest.

people would say an evo8 that produces 400bhp is really inefficient...

well 25mpg isnt great...but its efficient when you consider the amount of power it produces for the fuel it uses

An Aston Martin can do 25mpg and produce the same power. (6.0 V12)

Not a valid argument, but the Aston would probably be more efficient at high rpms than an evo producing the same power. I go off topic no more.
