Ah now you see that's specific, a late apex you could argue braking mid corner is desirable
in general braking in a corner is not advisable, and if you are doing it you should probably slow down !
Aye yeah, the only corner I can think of at Combe you MIGHT want to give a dab is if you've gone a little too hot is Quarry corner, but unless you've a LOT of experience, I wouldn't be entering Quarry at a speed where I'd be wanting a quick dab of brake mid corner, because you'll usually end up looking something like this chap:
