Yeah, I take your point mate... but I think you are missing mine.
It's not about making money, business etc... it's about getting people out on track in a 306 if they don't want to take their own on.

Right so your telling me when your on track you dont drive your car harder than you do when your on the road? Because if thats the case, you either drive like a complete wanker on the road or everyones overtaking you non stop on track.
I drive much harder on track than I do on the road, that's why I have a track car so I can enjoy doing 100+mph and taking corners at speed - but I go no-where near the limit of what the car or I can do. There are too many variables to consider, mainly around mechanical failure, other track users etc.
If you want to push to the limit, enter competitively. There are safety regulations and tests to ensure the cars are safe and people are skilled.
