hydraulic clutch
#1
theres no 'transmission etc' section...

so this thread is going in here

Has anyone tried to retro fit a hydraulic clutch??

Looking at it, its not all that tricky.

Would need a late 406hdi bell housing, as they have a hydraulic clutch fitted.

then the real issue is the master.

Either trying to make a 406/206 pedal and master fit or a universal (or again a 406/206 flipped round) one fitted inside the car under the dash

just wondered if it been tried???

I know from experience if you put new clutch arm bearings in and grease them, and use a new cable you can get a nice light clutch but I am thinking ahead to when I got uprated with the clutch...been recommended to go hydraulic so a much heavier cover plate can be fitted to the clutch.
Wishes for more power...
