Right well small update for time being. sent my LDA pin off the bosch pump to dan to get it ground to his custom proven spec. so though i may as well try and do the gov mode. bricking it is not the word while doing it incase i broke the gov arms. but to be fair took my time and managed to get it done till i lost my bloody cold idle screw! to which i just went and bought a box full of springs and fitted one that was simular to ones in pictures.
so now iv got 149 spare...
So first shim on the gov resulted in this
i wasnt happy so i inserted a washer to shim it more
putting it all back together was fun! but got there in the end once all together i tested the movement as iv read a non goved pump the throttle arm will move free all the way to maximum swing. mine didnt it put up slight resistance towards the end so its all gone back in together fine and nothing broken! Once iv got the lda pin back from dan il put the new bosch pump on over a weekend and see how it goes from there.

So far the car as it stands
Running kkk screwed 3 turns producing 20psi on average with a peak boost of 22psi
Lucas pump turned up by previous owner by un known amount
And to be fair its quite nippy now and pulls very well and feels stable
But soon it will have a Bosch pump shimmed by about 4-5mm and a ground LDA Pin then il get it on the dyno!
