Well found out what turbo i am running at the minute and it is a kkk. now the previous owner had turned the fuelling on the lucas but hadnt the turbo. my initial plan was to swop to the bosch un tampered and standard turbo then take it to a rolling road for a begging figure. But while i had the car up i decided to turn it up. It took 3 turns to to move it up to around 18psi, for some reason it didnt peak staraight away it seemed to "bed" in till it was sat around 19psi but now seems average peak boost is around 20. I had also cleaned the stupid mushroom filter today needed to nip out so ran with out a filter and it bellowed black smoke out the back right the way up to 5 gear. so it would appear the stupid filter is quite restrictive. Plan was to change it any way so im looking down the route of a much more less restrictive setup. and tune it to suit. With out the filter it peaked boost at near 22psi
