Running veg? Power loss?

I haven't yet tried veg oil but when i do I was going to ask around local chippys then filter it at home? What's the flaw in my plan?

Most chippies will buy it from frylite or other companies who have it in the contract that they get the used stuff back.

Chinese's might be more likely to help you out, but certainly if you see frylite containers in the back its basically a no go!
