I can't say I've heard the fan since owning the car, but that's not to say they don't work, as I've only done about 200 miles. On a run yesterday it didn't even get up to 80, sat at maybe 75, but I was being gentle and it is pretty cold. Just thought with it being an 83 Deg C stat, it would sit just over 80.

the 83 degree refers to the temp it opens at. if you want to test the fans easiest way is give it a thrash down the road to properly heat it up then stop and leave it running too see if the fan kicks in at around 85-90
