Remove Registration

My plate was purchased from dvla and i taxed and mot the car just to remove it then the car got broke as soon as i had the plate took off. when i rang dvla and told them i had scraped it (i didnt recieve a distruction cert) i asked them if the car needed tax and test to remove the plate and i was told if its being scraped then no. worth ringing them up mate

ah right. the car has already been scrapped though but i keep the log book just to see if i could take the plate off. be worth a call though like you said
