Thing is mate, I've thrown enough money at the car now....I can scrape together a grand for another car now I've checked bank accounts, but thats literally it, no more money to throw at shitty expensive Golfs.
Plus, I wouldn't buy a USED head for that much money anyway, especially off a 2002 model as they're the ones prone to the chocolate cam (wish I'd known before lol).
Now the problem is space, might ask my Nan if she'd keep parts in her garage for me.
The other problem is I've become attached to it. I know its only a lump of old German metal.....which was actually made mostly in Italy if you look at the makers stamps on things lol, no wonder they break!.....but I looked at it earlier in the hope to swap wheels and get the towbar off........and I've kinda got attached to it.
But needs must, so onwards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
