Switch colour LED Mod part 2

Passenger door switch



Turn switch over and push tabs in to release switch from bezel




take switch and push/lift tabs to release switch head




Note LED and resistor you are going to replace



turn switch to note the connections to the top board




take switch and gently hinge up top board to reveal the solder connections





Note direction the led is connected




unsolder the pads that the LED is soldered too



resolder new LED



carefully test the switch LED in the car for correct operation if the led does not light
unsolder the led ad reverse it then resolder



cut off component legs



gentely bend top board back making sure no connections touch the bottom board



reasemble switch



test in car
