So I need more boost for my HDI

How do I go about upping the hdi boost?

I have cained getting my car ready for fcs, the only this I will be missing is ma new front bumper as it isn't ready yet Sad and now I'm thinking power/boost...

To tune the turbo you'll need to add a front mounted intercooler, otherwise you'll overheat the turbo and kill it pretty quick

p.s this goes in hdi section

Look for a stage one remap takes it up to 120ish BHP! Not really clued up too much about HDi engines, after that new uprated clutch & FMIC needed for a stage 2 map.

I think...

No offense taken; what im saying is perhaps read around the interwebs for tuning an HDi, there are HUNDREDS of pages of how to do it

Tbh I've always wondered with work could u fit the 2.2 in a 306??? I haven't seen it done before that suggests it might not... But wouldnt that run nicely...

As said, they map straight to around 120bhp with no other mods. Beyond that you'll need a FMIC and look at clutches etc.

Quite a bit of info about if you have a browse through the HDi section Smile

The 2.1? There is a 2.1 hdi 306 dimma on the forum somewhere.

Any argument you want doesn't change the fact the DI is massively more efficient than IDI though..............
