That top bit can be put back in no time...
Looks to me life the abs pump has moved a fair bit suggesting that it has been bent?

Abs pump has hopefully just sheared off its mounted from front impact..
Depends really, because im the kinda person that will repair stuff, but either way, theres alot of work involved in putting that right again, so if you would rather avoid hassle, replacing it will be alot easier, but if you looking for somewhere to get rid cheap I could probs fix that up / sell again in no time provided main leg has moved left or right behind the abs pump.

Can see what your saying there Darren and I'm the same but I don't like the idea of repairing something that could be potentially a lot weaker in the event of another accident. As much as we love our cars, they need to protect us and we all know the 306 isn't brilliant for that at the best of times!

Dont know if its just the photos or my eyesight but the suspension turret looks like its moved towards the windscreen pillar, If it has its a serious amount of welding to get it back on the road.
This picture shows some further wounds.. Check by the windscreen/scuttle area - it appears the suspension torret area has been pushed in. The metal strip coming off the suspension torret is kinked.
I used to repair quite a few cat D/C cars much worse than this, a few 306s had this and it can be sorted but thats a personal decision down to you. I can totally relate if i was in your position, i'd be really down about it and would fix it for sentimental reasons and cos every car has character to me (especially old french tins!).. but being more rational on the other side of the fence... i'll just point out that i probs wouldn't feel the same about the car after - does the fact it would be damaged/ repaired make a diff to you?
If not, get cracking! Take the bumper and wing off, it's the only way you can motivated.
Defo needs all the shiny bits putting on a new shell if its bent back there, can see the bit between the turret and the a pillar is crumpled as well as the bend by the scuttle.
Yeah tis fooked, not much point fixing that tbh if your wanting a perfect shell, which that will never be now...
Find and another and swap swap me thinks is easiest option...Uve got a tonne of work to be done there to put that right sadly...wouldnt really be worth it unless you were able yourself to do all the chassis work etc.
