well have'nt done much really with the car yet. been busy over the last few week but i thought i would get a clutch for when the hdi box goes on.



was £120 on ebay and ended up getting one for £112 . could of got a LUK clutch for £110 but thought id get a genuine one for the sake of £2.
well if the weather good tomorrow ill going to fix the central locking and window then wait for studturbo to come over and help me do the clutch and box some time soon

got my clutch cable from gsf today so hopefully the gearbox should be on tomorrow

well today i headed over to do the gearbox with the help from GTIKYLE who is a top lad. couldnt knock his work. we got the box on witch was a real pain but its on. just a few bits to finish but they will be done next weekend. here is some pics

any one know how hard a clutch cable is to do?

they aren't as bad as people make out TBH mate, just remove the old one as your fitting the new one and hook it onto the pedal end before you hook it over the clutch release

ive already got it of the pedal but the rubber bit is stuck behind the block. around the black circle thing :? what ever its called

the auto adjuster thing (black cylinder down on sub frame area) that I think you mean clips into place, there should be a clip that it will just pull out of if you haven't noticed that!

ye it was a cold day kyle haha. well the box has to be took back out now because we cant remember if we aligined the clutch fork with the clutch release bearing :?

well yesterday was a good day indeed the box is on :pray: . GTIKYLE came over again and we started on the box and clutch cable. the cable was a pita but when done wasnt so bad. we had abit of trouble lining the folk up so got THE_Liam to come give us a help in hand and within 5minutes the box was on . nice to meet you liam nice lad. so the hdi box is fully working with a new clutch cable so the pedal is nnice and soft . cant thank you both enough guys :dance: .
