One of which is dropping it off at Tiggys today. Like an actual legend. So at least I will have time to clean it up, give it a lick of paint...and maybe change some internals.... Gearbox back on with my best mates help, Noah, (with the RG 806) as I put my back out and trying to work with a busted back and avoid lifting in g/boxes! Huge shout out to a Piggypower fan who donated the box and Tiggy' who brought it down for me.
Cleaned it up and lick of paint. New bushes and seals. Removed useless open diff Now it's hanging on mounts.... Next step is strip rods/pistons out. Again. Wishes for more power...

any idea yes as to what happened to the valve spring? crap metal or are they going coil bound from being too fat?

An independent spring testing company has confirmed material used was junk essentially. Now in hands of Craftsman who have recently changed hands to add to difficulties.
Replacement head stripped and sent off with dead head today for 'work' All pistons and rods removed for inspection. All seems well with block and bore, two pistons will be replaced for good measure. Chance to balance them all too. Rear beam parts stripped, cleaned and painted. Be rebuilt soon. Same with front brakes. Now SORN'd. Pic for comic lovers... Wishes for more power...
Care to share the report if you have it?
Expecting high cycle fatigue looking at the service length.

In other news, new head should be ready this week, pistons courtesy of a very poorly Cornish legend arrived and I'm balancing them all up with the rods... So rebuild should start next week. Got this done in meantime: Wishes for more power...

Hopefully use the 24mm ARB from the Dturbo beam... Would like to upgrade the ARB at some point. All new seals and bolts by #axlesbystef ...couldn't have done it without him Bought a new tube with bearings ready fitted from Germany Wishes for more power...

Hats off for persevering with this Piggy. At least I guess you're not too phased by an engine rebuild now. They say practice makes perfect!
Have you decided what springs are going in the head this time? Beam was looking very tidy from your earlier post btw. Providing you don't post the video we can all continue under that illusion!!

Stock springs. Let's test what they will actually do....

New injectors in.
Everything is back together. Gearbox seals/oil in today. All the splash guards etc. It coughed and spluttered. But not quite fired to idle. Battery just not up to it after so many months sat out in the cold. So steady charge overnight and we'll see what happens... Wishes for more power...
