Rear shocks are nice and easy! Never done a accelerator cable but if it's anything like a clutch cable, prepare to trade skin and blood with the car!

 and accelerator cable is easy I did mine and took 15mins.

Cheers for the info Matt, do you know if the XSpie cable route is different from the gti6? Tbh when we had the car apart I checked the run, and it didn't look like too much of a mission. Also, I watched those videos again this morning, can't belive how tragic the photobucket video quality is; I recorded those at 720p hd @ 60fps, its brilliant on my computer. FML, I'm gonna put em up on youtube tonight.

Well you seem to spending lots on the car you may as well get something that cleans it properly. I used one on the mx5 engine bay and worked wonders.
