Ok...I'm up early...its our 8yr wedding anniversary today...Mrs Piggy still snoozing, we got back late from Brighton...anywho...
I'm buzzing as I will be revealing her gift which has been sat waiting for 6months for this moment...
It's a classic, three cylinder, turbo and will need a lot of time and love...but plan is for me and mrs piggy to do this project together...
Off now to set cameras up and then I'll post up tomorrow a pic or two
(slightly boring start...but I'm just a bit excited!)
And I promise you will all love it

I confess, the "KEV" bit is lost on me, but I will most definitely be watching this project with a keen interest! Always had a lot of love for the classic mini, might have to show my bro this, might help him get the motivation to finally start sorting his one out!

Yeah we not sure how many will get it if its "keev"....
Although seems some are struggling with "kev"
Was mrs piggys choice anyway...as will be the paintwork and interior.
My role is rust, mechanics and put her money into boost and paint

Gotta say I thought the same, 4 cylinders but only 3 ports in the head as one is shared.
I wasn't going to open my mouth as I just don't know enough about minis.
Maybe it's getting a 1.0 Aygo engine for an instant power hike and multivalve head.
Ford Ecoboost is the better swap though, IIRC you can even get ready made subframes for them.

Ah yes, that's erm....yeah, that's a good reason for the name!
Slightly overworked/underslept at the moment, and may have been at the tomatoes as well. That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it.

So.....
It's a Mini. Chequered past. But what mini doesnt?!
Anyway... Its a pretty solid shell and thats all I cared about tbh, along with the 4 spoke revo wheels which arent to my taste but Mrs Piggy love ems.
Has some upgraded suspension and trick bushes too. Ideal.
Interior is a wreck...but we have plans for it anyway...a lot will be custom as far as dash is concerned anyhow.
Paintwork/body: needs a couple professional bits finishing/doing, Micky will come in there.
And some scabby bits which are unseen once finished which I will take on...que better welder and some practice.
Front end will come off and be replaced with flip front 1 piece FG.
Custom paintjob...undecided...once "she" has decided I'll reveal it.
Engine...this is where things will get exciting and very tricky...only one other mini running this lump afaik...but thankfully he is a nice guy and we've been chatting...
It will get boost basically. And wont be an A series!
I'll edit the little bits of video soon...of getting it and the reveal yesterday!
Need to get fcs/pugfest over...finish stg2 on 206...then its time to get things done on Kev
Only other pic I have...

not sure about the flip front, it does add prang strength.
as for suspension, I recall wheeler dealers getting some 'custom made' coils for a Moke project.

Yeah I think I'll be keen to ditch the bags in favor of coils... Will have to investigate...

If it doesn't get a ford eco boost you've made a mistake.
