Used a Pugracing adapter to be able to use a 205 gti oil pressure sender and I'll have this hooked up to the gti clocks so everything works - oil pressure /temp etc
Thinking of sticking an oil cooler on this I've got lying around
On a positive note the actuator now clears, might have to shave a bolt housing off the cold side of the turbo as it's very close to the uj

Just made up the loom which retains the brown plugs on the gti.
I'm installing an oil temp sensor in the sump as there's 2 sump plugs.
So I'll have
Oil warning light
Oil pressure
and
Oil temp all through the gti clocks with a dturbo Rev counter.
These are the only 2 wires I'm struggling with, it's the wire for the pump solenoid which goes through the relay does this need to be switched or permanent live, I'm guessing permanent

There's quite a few things rubbing, great linkages on turbo and exhaust middle box on the chassis. Nervous wait!
Getting rid of the middle box tomorrow

Me being an idiot, didn't tighten the subframe bolts.
Somethings changed fueling wise, smoking a hell of a lot more for some reason
Passenger door playing up, side light bulb playing silly buggers
All done ready for retest.
Fueling down as low as possible, but still some smoke out the back.
No where near as much as it did

Some one mentioned heat soak on another thread, had a good drive of this yesterday and the inlet was cool, so intercooler is working well

I've turned the fuel down that much its worse than a NA diesel to drive. I think after about 20 seconds of foot flat in 2nd it finally comes on boost

Turned the fuel up too high, accelerated and came on boost and it just started redlining. Stuck it 5th and stalled it. Quite lucky really
Something up with the pump, ideally needs rebuilding /resealing

A new pump isn't the end of the world or I'm sure someone here could rebuild it for you.
It's looking good though, nearly there, don't loose the love.

Feel like the challenge myself to be honest, there's a few mods I'd like to do. I've a spare 9mm pump lying around
