Wtf your going to just f*ck it off and scrap it over a minor fuel issue?

A - just put the old pump back on, it was running fine before?!

B - Its a bosch VE, the likes of me / other people could rebuild it / reseal it and have it 100% working again in no time...

Seriously you cant honestly be going to scrap a perfectly good car that you were raving about just 24 hours ago over this?!

Have you actually read the thread or are you just randomly posting?? the last 2 things you have posted have already been answered by Chris

I have to say that I do agree with Darren though, seems a bit stupid to scrap it, worlds shortest project.........................."Its amazing, i'm doing this this and this".............................."something has gone slightly wrong that would be easily fixed"......................."bored now its getting scrapped!"

lol

Reminds me of other projects...........

heh...

And btw I had read in the thread the injector lines were wrong way round, but was so pised off with the outcome that couldnt even be arsed to bring it up, sepically given it take 30 seconds to figure which order they go in!

I did put the fuel lines on the right way, it was only 1 and 4 that needed swapping and it still felt no closer to starting, the fuel was hardly coming out the end of the lines, even at full throttle it just didnt look like enough to make the car run.

It was on the old pump after wed resealed it, I think something had gone wrong in the resealing process.

It had also started leaking veg in the middle of the car too.

I do love the car and I will have another but I wont buy another cheap one.

It was scrapped cos I need a working car and for what that one was worth it just wasnt worth paying to fix it.

I will start a new thread for the NAD when I get some piccies. Cant clutch and brake at the same time very well but it's not fast enough to matter. It's one of the early 1360cc cars and tbh it struggles to accelerate past 65 on motorway hills. Think it's only 50bhp standard and tbh I doubt it's making 40bhp ATM.

Real shame to see you scrapped this.. I was looking forward to seeing it take shape! Glad to see you'll have another one some day though!

Phil if it gets an engine swap it'll be a 1.4 hid but it's probably a tad rusty for a project. Harky yes hopefully one day soon
