That was 2 batteries lol. One tiny petrol Halfords one and a large GM one from a diesel Vectra.

3 motors didn't even make £3 though lol.

Precious metals are still worth money.
Copper, brass, lead and the like are still making reasonable money.
Steel /iron is worth the square root of f*ck all.
I got £60 for a 1.4 ton car with 5 alloys the other day. I don't think that is the end of the world really.


Also, as a result, there are loads of decent cars selling for not a lot of money, buyers market for sure.

I know iron is worth less than paper now, but what about the stuff that used to be valuable?  Motors, batteries etc?

Basically I've got a couple of knackered batteries, 2 starters and an alternator.  Are batteries and motors worth enough for me to drive to the scrap yard or should I just dump them at the dump about a mile away?

keep the batteries and engines, and weigh the focus in..  

might get a little more for it.
