I've got somebody interested in buying the proton I have for sale.
I'm selling the car cash on collection. But this person wants to use Paypal I know taking payments like this can cause problems if they make a claim. They get there money back also the car with them I don't want this hassle.
I have explained the only other way sending paypal as a gift this safe for me?
Also if they use there credit card payment through paypal will this be safe or not for me as there cover for them?
I want to make sure I'm not messed about simple really.
Thanks

I'd insist cash or bank transfer only. The risk of them opening a dispute is too great.

Problem is, they probably want to use PayPal so they don't get messed about by you if there is a problem with it... Can't trust anyone these days lol.
You'll lose a load in fee's through paypal though, be £30 lost if the cars a grand... I wouldn't use paypal selling tbh, if they don't want to carry cash suggest a bank transfer.

Cash only.
Even if they do a Paypal gift they can claim their account was hacked and claim money back that way.
