So, bit of an update. I've done f*ck all to it, really just enjoying driving a car with no issues. Keep spotting V6 coupe alloys and trying to snipe them cheap but no luck yet.
What I have noticed is it's brilliant on juice. I filled it up when I bought it, now 3 weeks on after 380 miles of almost all town work and some caravan dragging it's down to a quarter of a tank!

Coupe wheels ftw
Only issue you may find is that they take a funny size tyre that not many garages stock 215/55/r16
I went to 205/50 to match the lowered suspension on mine and stiffer sidewall with a slight tyre stretch

Thanks for the tip mate. I'll try Blackcircles or Camskill. Oh, and it did 515 miles on that tank!

I found it cheapest just to buy some more wheels with decent 215/55 tyres on them lol

Pete's is on 205's now too
Felt a bit floaty on 215's for my liking.
I don't know why you're struggling to find some heated leather seats though, I open the door and there they are.
Custom roll cages/shiny suspension bits/general fabrication work undertaken, PM me.

Yeah, the engine makes the coupe really, the handling isn't a patch on the 306 mind.
Yet.

They go on these usually because the top mount has siezed and has put stress on the spring.

Who designed these 'fatter in the middle' springs, such a dangerous idea! Didn't realise 406s USed them tbh.

Fair enough, makes sense. Still don't like them lol. Seen 2 cases of them wrecking the tyre when they snap myself, scaled up it must be happening to loads of cars!
