There is a reserve on it which it won't reach, but we'll see what the highest bidder offers n go from there
As you can see it's been on for less than a hour, and someone has put in a bid already

I don't think it would still be in service, isn't there a maximum age for a hackney carriage? I know there is a maximum age to bring a new one into service, I'm assuming there must be a maximum age for one before it has to retire?
EDIT: A quick Google shows 'usually' a vehicle of no more than 3-5years old can be put into service, and once they are 7-8yrs IN service, they don't renew the taxi license.. 'usually' being the key word though.

With all due respect you can always tell. The cosworth was built on the sierra body frame, the car itself is bigger than a standard escort. Hence all different panels. Google it mate

I haven't seen a Escort cosworth tbh, so I wouldn't know, I was told the floor pan is a sierra floor pan that was welded in to the shell. But the floors were known to rot due to the welding or something?
Seen a citroen camper c15 today and a old Toyota corolla hatch back on a L plate.

i cannot remember the last time i saw a Saab 900 convertible! Got to say the saab 900 turbo was a tasty bit of kit in the 90s!
The mk2 cav is proper rare! i read in a mag some years ago, that some of the bits for those are extinct! The cabby ones, the replacement hoods have to be made up! Its sad really as i think the mk2 cav is one of the lost Vauxhalls now of that era. The nova, the astra all seemed to have survived, but not the cav for some reason! It was a popular motor back in the early 90s!
here is a one at croft, a salon version.

Saw a Granada yesterday.
A guy in my village has two of the saabs pictured above, a blue and a red one.
Same guy also has a mk1 fiesta soft top which I've never seen before so not sure if it's had a chop.
Another chap has a K reg Orion with blue LED sidelights & a huge exhaust..

I had 3 Cavs, a B plate hatch (broke the cam), a saloon CDi on an E plate (rear suspension collapsed into the boot) and the cream of the crop an SRi 130, (Shropshire hedges and fields didn't agree with it, well the front end anyway)
