Does this theory of yours apply to all models with black morettes?

Lmfao! Wow I've heard some things in my time
Well I could match the colour in fact I could do them any colour in want tbh
I've gone with a high gloss black from a spray gun which , will be flatted and buffed so they have a mirror face , and will sit nice next to a freshly painted grill and bumper (and soon bonnet when I have time )
When the can rattle canned matt black then I can sort of see where your coming from but otherwise I completely disagree . I'm hoping you will actually get over it but I fear you may not

Maybe I threw a bit or sarcasm in there as I was a little (shocked ) at your opinion on black morrettes in general, I really don't care your entitled to your opinion and as I'm on a public forum I except opinions.
I think they will look good that's the bottom line as it's my car

There is a little bit more to it have a small quirky plan for the car nothing major but in order for that plan the morrettes need to be black , in person it looks great.
Bonnet will be off next week and il be painting that as it's also covered in stone chips and lacquer peel due to the chips etc

Ok so a small update I recently purchased an omp strut brace , I turned up the other day , as you can see its certainly had it day.
So what to do with it , give it a 5 minute sand down and hit it with some rattle can back and bolt it on?
Nah , instead I'm going to sand the entire thing down so it's even and the polish the whole thing and lacquer it
Unfortunatly my supplies have ran low so I didn't make a huge amount of progress tonight as the rust is pretty bad and deep but I did do a small teaser on what to expect

It would have been a lot easier if it was not so rusty as it's so deep it just takes for ever

So yesterday while I was shopping for a new drill I decided to see if b&q had anything I could make a intake pipe for My morrettes , I had an old intake cup to start with but it was big and would look a bit crap on its own , so I found some sink pipe kit for £7 and then had a great idea with a spot light surrounding which was £2 , I took the item home and got to work
I drilled and few holes in the old intake cup and attached the sink pipe
I then had a test fit with the spot light surrounding and I knew I would be good as it has 2 springs that hold it into the cup
Then sprayed it yellow and put on the car I made a small insertion into the standard air intake pipe so I have not messed with its original intake system

Looks good, should spray the inlet black to go with the lights.
How much work did the strut brace take to get it that shiny.

Your front bumper needs pulling in a little, sits too far out under the wings.

The inner lights are horrendously expensive but available on eBay. It'd look better with a gloss black grill.
I genuinely hate body coloured morettes, mine are Matt black
