Fitment wise yes.
Use exactly the same mounting points on all three mounts. Swap the lever over on the gearbox and you use the 205 gear linkages. He should of just used a gti subframe

engine loom would be easyaly doable with an unlocked ecu
would be almost the same as grafting a gti6 loom in the 205 https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ GTI6 Info Don’t drive faster than your guardian angel can fly.

It would be very similar to a 6 loom conversion on a 205

indeed, I've seen two conversions before, one was into a Laser green gti, using gti shafts and subframe.
as mentioned, wiring wise it will be exactly like doing any other engine management conversion into the 205, no need to touch the dashboard whatsoever.
