This is really f*cking me off now.
Brand new Acer e15 laptop on Windows 8.
It keeps losing Wifi, I've reset the modem, I've changed the power saving settings on the WiFi to performance (not power saving)
there's something about downloading a atheros arb5b97 wWifi driver but I'm struggling to actually find a place to download the file.
Has any body else had this problem?
It literally stays connected for 30 secs then disconnects.
The longer the laptop stays on the worse it gets.
No problem with the WiFi on 2 phones and my other laptop

windows update and then look in the option menu?
or go to the support section of the acer website and find the driver for your model of laptop?
or i presume there is an acer update software that will find it for you?

Ok I'll have a look Sam.
No touch screen on this model. Apparently it's a common problem, but with some people it still persists.
I've done the methods where is solved it for other people but it hasn't for me

I think its bound to be a driver issue.

It's losing Wifi wherever.
I think you're right Sam. There's quite a few suggestions about it online

I've just "rolled back" the driver software to a previous setting and it seems to of fixed it.
I hope ....
