Mate as jonny says your machine shop will be able to sort the valves for nothing if your having multi angle valve seats cut.
Ive got a valve stick and grinding paste here that i never used if you wanted to get a refund on yours and you can have mine for nothing.

Cheers for the offer but it only cost me 4 quid delivered lol.
Nah tbh I'm looking forward to learning how to do it. I know it's hard work and will be saying "wish I got someone else to do it" after the 2nd valve but will be good. If I get the head back tomorrow eve which I'm hoping to then Sunday I can get cracking with the rest of it.

Nope that is the way I was considering doing it. You can get a Sealey grinder with bits for about 30 quid! Problem is buying a decent compressor isn't cheap!

Slowly. Just gathering parts at the moment. Got hold of a die grinder on eBay for 30 quid the other day so that's saved me money! Real progress will start in a few weeks.

Nah it's getting ported. Just got to get a 110v transformer for my new die grinder and I can get cracking with it!
Gasket set turned up the other day. The original pug HG is not MLS so need to buy a new one before I fit the head at the end of the month. I know the pig one will be good for the rest of the time I have the car but want to do it properly! Especially if it's happens to have. Turbo bolted on soon
Overdraft extension here I come!

Jonny only just seen this. I don't have a compressor. Was going to buy a cheapy as I have loads of air tools in the loft but you know what they say. Buy cheap, buy twice! Will be saving for a decent compressor in the summer. Got a battery snap on buzz gun but it's only up to small jobs really

Annoyed. Someone hit my car this morning....
Needs a split in the bumper repairing/new bumper and a new wing and hockey stick. Insurance is all sorted so it's hopefully going to be done before the end of the month.
Oh and I might of jumped on the recent bandwagon and modified my fogs.....

Honestly get pressed plates! They change the front end for the better!
If you are struggling for a bumper then you can have mine next month as I am getting a new smoothed one!

Bumper is sorted mate. New one is going on hopefully next week. That cars been through more new bumpers than it has tyres I think!
