After a long time wanting another GTi-6, and 3 cars later I've bought one!
My girlfriend and I drove up to Oxfordshire to pick up this beauty.
Only 88,000 miles!
Mods:
Stage 2 kevlar clutch from CG motorsport
K&N 57i filter
Lowered front and rear on Spax suspension
Full Jetex exhaust system
200 cell cat
Ported intake manifold
Since buying it, I've removed most of the stickers, taken out the stack of washers on the bonnet hinge and swapped projector headlights for some crystals.
The plans for the future? Well, I'm keen on boosting it after reading Nialls supercharge thread very closely.

Apart from that, it looks really good for a moonstone tbh!

I bought it with those tyres... Don't worry, as soon as they need replacing, Toyo proxes will be on all 4 [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

Lol, I just don't see why people (previous owners) spend a lot of money on engines etc and skimp on tyres, especially on a performance car!
Proxes are ok to start with, but quickly go downhill I found.
On behalf of the forum I'll have to say Milechin Pilot Sport 3s... But really it depends on your budget tbh.

I thought linglong was a joke name for awful no-name budget tyres that people made up

I've never heard of Linglong before. I can honestly say they're shit and squeal too much... Might just be my driving to be fair

I done the manual fan switch mod yesterday, so much better when stuck in traffic!
Ended up taking the inlet manifold off and having a nosey about, replaced the gasket on that and also discovered it doesn't have a 'ported inlet manifold' like the previous owner told me... Not that fussed either way, it's getting boosted at some point providing it doesn't end up like my last lady garden of a '6...
