Taking the cams and valves etc out, giving the head a skim and a pressure test. Gunna see if the valves are reusable if not new valves, then the obvious cambelt kit to swap. Give the bottom end a clean. I may look onto cams but still unsure at te moment

Tbh mate, for the price of cams and a map you could just get a 6' lump put into it and then have even more power to begin with, plus afaik the 6' ecu is a lot more mappable

The paint cost me £12.99 for 750ml tin. Couldn't argue with that. Plus it's Matt so no faffing about with perfections. It was mainly because I was sick of seeing the scratches and scuffs and the black bonnet. Gf said to why not paint it as your off work? So had me and the gf pairing it for the last two days, spent a day sanding.
Just got to smooth the front bumper, and because I can't be arsed with sticking the sidestrips back on I'm going to smooth the sides. It's kinda of a ratty euro thing now I have fallen in love with my car again. Just need my spacers to come through, and fit my engine mounts. Maybe a couple of new pullies and fit my cambelt and all will be awesome TEAM CONROD SHITTING RALLYE!

That looks like it needs a second coat mate.
Matt Wrote:What's the best way of hooking up the rear to pop with the rear wiper mech? Anyone got a how to? Ive done a guide in the guides section mate. You can use your C/L motor in the boot as the popper to save buying one.
