its a bit of a bitch to get to that pipe, take off the airbox intake side of things from after the BMC round to filter and get into it from that way easiest ive found

tomw1123 Wrote:I have no idea i just bought a cheap [boost gauge] one on ebay lol This could be your issue, my last HDi had a cheap ebay gauge and it was reading 21psi but actually only making 17.5psi so thats about 15% out no reason why it couldnt be your gauge being partly to blame.

So dum how can you tell what it is actually making as opposed to what the guage says?

I have a top mount... the d seal is air tight im sure of that the only things left are:
That pipe wasnt sealed around the turbo properly I just tightened the end manifold bolt a whole turn could of been that or it could be my extremely bodged up T for my boost gauge

If its your boost gauge T piece you will be hissing like a b*tch.
More than likely if the pipe wasnt sealed on to the turbo properly then there you will be gushing out boost 306 HDI, soon to be XUD

Yes but i dont have a proper T i hose that goes to the gauge is bodged with cable ties and electrical tape...
You reckon i could get a 6mm silicon hose over an 8mm pipe??

Right all back together went for a drive and no change  so new T piece and new hose on the way so i can rule that out then we'll see whats happening :/ silly peugeot
