Hi all I'm in need of a cat for a phase 1 6', was promised one with the car but they are usless and won't send it to me for an unknown reason! Anyways not sure if it matters what phase the cats come from? But I need one for mot, thanks in advance.

Get it down a scrap merchants, Matt. You'll get a good price if it's genuine and they can confirm the code underneath by brushing it off to make it more visible.

Do gti6's still have genuine cats on? Every one I have owned has had copies on them haha. I must still have 5 of them at least in my dads shed and 1 on the black 6 i am breaking at the minute...

My dead one and my current one both appear to, both passed their last MOTs, but one had to be welded and the current one has required a bit of gun gum on the join.
