After disconnecting my battery and then reconnecting my handbrake and traction light are on all the time, I have taken it to the local garage and as the car has a remap their ecu reader can't connect, any ideas on how to turn the lights off and no not take bulbs out?

Sure your battery terminals are secure? And you haven't done anything else other than remove the battery?
Oh and its not a traction control light. Its ABS

Hmm, seems odd to me.
No, the mapping software (Galletto etc) won't read faults unfortunately.

MPPS is just map flashing software like Galletto as far as I know. It cant read faults.

Checked all fuses etc? Just an idea. The handbrake light can also indicate other brake faults like it can come on for low brake fluid not saying it's that but I'd say something must've popped when removing battery as I can't see what else would have done it.
