hey guys, im on the lookout for a motor now my semester is over.
I want something fun to drive, quite comfortable and rather reliable, good mpg would be great too!
And dont say 306 like i know you will, theyre already on the list, im just looking for alternatives!

Fun to drive, maybe not the most comfortable, but better than a kick in the balls, reliable, and great MPG.
Not a 306 either!

I already drive one of them once a fortnight! and i can tell you a kick in a nuts may be preferable to what it did to my ribs last week!

Not a fan of high up off roaders, just been offered a sj funnily enough!
I like lower down coupes and 3door hatches and the like, something with decent feel in the steering and good balance.
So most VAG products are out of the question! I know its not alot but im just look at alternatives to a modded dturbo or a bmw 323!

What about a 106 quicksilver?
Will leave you with about £200 in your pocket if you are good. Enough to pick up a GTi lump and drop it in

Ive tried the saxo/106 before and my feet just dont fit on the pedals!
Im pretty open with the engine size, just the cost of the car needs to be low!

Saab is a good choice! Cheap as chips to buy and mine very much had a "middle aged woman" feeling to the insurance companies!
ECU remap on a 185 9-3 will get you 230ishbhp too, more if you go for the older, red DI engine!
Lots of giggles to be had!
