Thanks though piggy, I think after the weekend coming at grants, I really will fall in love with it all over again, can't wait!
Rory, using the search box on the home page would have found you the best answer, but the 306oc sticker thread is HERE, and can also be found as a sticky thread at the top of "The Couch".
See, I didn't know about the search box so I spotted yours and thought I may as well ask, my apologies!

That's fair enough, you know for future reference now though, eh?
Welcome to the forum anyway.

I have a working clutch!!!
A HUGE thanks goes out to Grant and Niall for doing the work, Tom for sending me the clutch at the cost of postage, and Mr Rowell for bringing sausages....albeit a bit late.
Anyway, Grant and Niall did a fantastic job, and as always when working on these poxy french motors, they encountered a few problems, but it all came right in the end. The old shagged clutch looked like this when it came out:

Grant also donated a ph3 bumper to me, so that also got fitted while i was there:

I will be spraying the bump strip gloss black to tie in with the theme im going for, and i need to do a little repair to the bottom lip as theres a fair sized crack in it. Shouldnt be too difficult to sort though.
The rear beam didnt end up getting done though, as the weather wasnt on our side today, but more to the point, the bottles of rum that me, Grant and Fooby polished off last night had left me and Fooby in no state to be doing anything apart from feeling rough. The beam wasnt the important bit though, so we will probably end up doing that in a few weeks time maybe, depending on when's good for all involved.
All in all, an epic weekend was had, and im feeling the love for this car coming back...next job on the list is brakes though....front pads are a little low, got maybe 1mm left before it becomes metal on metal. Might have to give it a clean too at some point. And get some tyres for at least one set of my other wheels so i can get shot of the Harriers at long last!
So yeah, once again, thanks to Grant, Niall, Tom, Sam, Fooby, and a little nod to Connor as well for offering to send me a set of handbrake cables for the beam....no longer required though as ill be paid before the beam goes on. Thanks to all of you guys, if it hadn't been for everyones generosity, the car would be off the road now pending a whole heap of work. Seriously cannot thank you all enough, especially Grant and Niall for donating a load of parts and labour, as well as putting me up for the night, feeding me, and plying me with alcohol.
Oh, and Niall should hopefully have a time-lapse video from the GoPro to upload soon as well, looking forward to seeing that!

You need a picture of your meet sticker!
Sorry I was late! I went out the night before which I wasn't intending on and I was in not fit state to drive before lunch! Glad you got it sorted though and good to see the project progressing.

Haha, yes mate! Completely forgot about the one of me and Sam at the bar, and the last one of Adam clutching his head really sums up how Sunday morning was for me as well. That'll teach me to forget the pint of water rule!

Mate, it's like a different car! Made a world of difference, the drive home was fantastic with no clutch slip at all. Thank you very much for donating that clutch, bloody legend!

Any chance you could send me the whole set, maybe as a zip or something?

It never came off the road mate, but it was close. Without the generosity of everyone on here, it would have done though.

Sprayed the bump strip on the new bumper gloss black today, bit rough around the edges, but it'll do for now. Just the back bumper to gloss black at some point, and I'll be happy with it.

It will look better still once I've cleaned the car, so the rest of the gloss black stuff is black, instead of dirty brown/grey.
Definitely gonna get a set of fogs in there too, I'm just not feeling the blanks tbh.
