How much are secon hand engines as if yours got bent rod and you been driving it may be well buggerd and cost more than a good secon hand lump or a new exchange engine

well a mfew pictures ive had for a while but no working computer until now the tape covering the show plate due to a traffic officer getting abit arsy about having to plates on the front of my car, his words were "unless you cover it up now I have to give you a fine" so out came the hazard tape I borrowed from work

and on colins trailor of to pug performance
bit of an update on the engine the new one has all the new parts on it just waiting to here when its going to be in the pug hopefully back on my drive mid this week so fingers crossed it is!

Cheers guys few plans might sound odd but planning for next year's fcs for it to be epic, this year will just be lower and a good clean but next year I would like it on air, 8j and 9.5j shmidtz 3 pease modern lines with white centres and polished lip and a few other touches, the tap is just to cover the show plate as I found out by a traffic officer that you can't have 2 plates :/ the engine cost me 350 dude
think the weirdest feeling is having the window stopped at traffic lights and not hearing "tap tap tap tap tap tap" really odd but good

Well fitted the new springs at work today and got to say the ride is so much smoother but with the odd bounce need to adjust the ride hight a bit more as it bottoms out on big bumps but rasing the coilover 4 mm has lowered it another 10 mm which is what I wanted also fitted some falken 914's as the old 912's were very very very broken inside the tyre!

Great news sam..
875 springs??? Wow must have been punishing, 400s must be like cushions in comparison!

Yeah mate they were insane, no suspension what so ever. The 400 are a lot better still a bit bounce but smooth

Out terrorising Wiltshire again then Sam?
Glad to hear you got it sorted. And interested to see it go down the Air route. I've seen it on a Volkswagen Golf and was pretty insane how low it goes, gives the irish spec a run for their money.

Sorted the suspension out, raised them up but somehow made the car lower which is fine with me, but the old man said I have to park the car on the road now as the drive has taken a battering in other news I might be selling the comps in the next few months to make way for some new wheels also need to order a bmc filter and a 90 degree silicone pipe to move it up by the battery pictures soon once I've taken some and a very good clean is in order
