Tbf there's a bough foam to do every hole on the door, for about 6 sets of doors.

I could precut some squares and post to you to cut to shape? Saves buying a whole roll?

So the footwell has remained dry ThumbsUp so it would appear the foam is doing its job well!

Changed the TRE's today and had the tracking done. No more knocking noises. For now lol

Also fitted a voltmeter to keep an eye on my two small batteries. They have been getting a little sluggish in the cold weather.

How far out the tracking was lmao

This is fitted straight. It just angles towards the driver, giving the illusion it is not, agains the bottom of the heater controls. Just warming up in the house with a brew atm, then heading back out to weld up the hole in my wing if I CBA

The bar hSnt worked it's way fully out. Jay skud across one of the pads. I'm gone put it back through, drill the holes a tad bigger and put some m2 bolts through to stop it working loose either way.

If that makes any sense at all lol

You do realise that if you painted that caliper you would have an extra 5bhp. and thats per caliper! FACT!

I only have the back left painted on the 1.8. Just too much power otherwise!

lol The fronts are painted yellow. Thats enough power for the time being with a failing brake system.

V8 is in planning stages. After seeing Dan's soarer the other week and hearing that roar, it has motivated me even further to get this done.

At the extremely earliest it won't be till autumn this year, but I reckon more likely show season 2015. I'm gonna try and buy an engine, at least that way I have to get cracking with it then Angel

The Rover (Buick actually) V8 has some benefits but IMO just don't (unless its TVR fettled). Save your pennies and get a chevy LS crate engine, they start from a couple of grand up to the best part of £10k for a LS9

Yeah its a 1950s Buick engine and I'm not sure thats any less uncool (becausedoublenegative)

Rovers from the V8 era were pretty cool anyway. Anyway when people say what the hell is in that, just say a V8! lol

TBH the V8 used in the disco's and defenders are bullet proof. You can buy an entire gasket and head bolt set for £60 quid (for both banks) and as said, they are cheap to come by.

Yes, a chevvy engine, or a Hemi would be awesome! But not the point of this build lol

The Rover V8 sounds good and that's about it, you'd be faster with a '6 engine.
