I know you are.
It was f*cking cold on Saturday in the barn too so a steady hand was not being used.

So finally fixed the glove box luck.
I bit of heavy duty plastic paint to protect under the scuttle panel. More of the engine bay slowly getting the bits together. Some more coats of paint on the calipers. Next weekend we can add oils, finish off the body work repairs on the roof and tailgate. Get a few touch ups done on the bumper and bonnet then we need to relocate the relation pipe for the turbo.

More stuff. Mainly doing body work at the moment. Waiting for turbo oil lines and relocation of the turbo.
Brakes; front and rear. Interior. Didn't actually get any pics of the body work but it's coming along. Need to pick up some bits from the scrap yard that seem to have gone walkies.

Looking very nice Mark!!!
How much will the build cost in total?? Got a finish date yet? the smokey old bus that sounds like a tractor...
27-10-2013, 10:24 PM
Depending on what you are counting as a cost. If you add all the money I spent on fuel going to see the car it soon adds up.
Going to try and get all the body work done this weekend. Hopefully get the oil lines soon, I am missing a weekend or two this month due to family things. It would make a good Xmas present. Lol

So today I had the workshop to myself. was hoping to get a load done today, but only got so far.
So the scuttle panel and wipers are all in place and fitted, no pics though as it started raining so had to cover up the car. Flocked interior is now complete, bar the ash trays which I need to find. Also decided to wrap the exhaust since I had a roll left over, need to get some of that oil spray people keep talking about and wrap the last part to the back box later. Also made a start on the front bumper it was covered in dents and stone chips. So a bit of work to do. Bit of black paint to show up all the dents. Still a bit to do on the roof and tailgate.

So i take it its being wrapped again or is it being resprayed? What colour?
