There's a mint P1 that lives around here somewhere. Followed it home the other day, listening to the lovely rumble. Then he put his foot down and popped a massive flame
Much as i'd love a P1, or a 22B, i'd probably have to retain a little bit of "sensible" and get a AWD Turbo 2000. More doors.....
But i get what you mean about listening to the rumble, i love the sound of the boxer engine, mute the stereo every time a nice one goes past!

I'd love some kind of V8 but I don't think I'll ever be able to justfy the fuel...

I'm surprised you're looking at another bimmer though after your previous one...or are you just interested in having one if it's a higher spec and more powerful model? A Landy would also be win! Jamie you shouldn't have gotten rid of the bobtail!

A fully specced VAG with the 2.0PD 140 probably. Almost got an A3 earlier this week with full heated leathers, dual zone climate, sight nd light pack.....but the interior looked as though it'd been a dog kennel for the last 10 years!

Cant imagine myself getting rid of the DT, for a daily its just soo much fun and affordable
As long as i could afford it id be after a Mitsubishi Galant/Legnum VR4 2.5TT saloon for my next, my dad has 2.0 auto estate and it just looks awesome Dream car is an R34 GTR, though i imagine id have to pick between that or a mortgage...

What toy I get next depends on budget really, either a retro project or an accord type r, always wanted one and they're awesome value these days. It'll be a while off unless I find a big bag of money! Got a wedding to pay for first Loved 'em ever since a mate had one and we went for a blast over the tops. Black or Red pre-facelift for me!

so....
apart from 306s probably a DS3 or some other pug gti. Ideally an evo 8/9 like this... or a R34 skyline like so... so yeh judging by the fact they are all 10K+ cars ill be in the 306 for a while. Until everyone on here buys R26 Meganes anyway. then ill probably buy one of those.

liking the look of it!!! (03-10-2013, 12:29 PM)WiNgNuTz Wrote: I'd really like a classic shape Impreza, but unchavved ones that are in good nick seem to be getting rarer now. You've been on this site a while and I never knew! Same as you really. Who'd of thought you would have had the exact same reason as I do as well, Colin Mcrae is a legend and such an inspiration, there will not be anyone else like him. I read his autobiography back in '03 when I was 13. Four years before the accident On the subject, I made a similar thread with my "What car would you have if the 306 simply didn't exist?" and the answer is I honestly cannot think of a car that does what the 306 (specifically the DT) does as well as it. The versatility, serviceability, driveability, affordability, customisability everything, I just can't think of anything like it. This April was the 4th year mark I have owned it and it feels perfect. Sure it rattles and creaks all the time, but who cares? Only I drive it, I don't have a family/girlfriend to worry about them not liking it. I might be going into bikes for awhile but I will certainly have the Impreza as a goal as a "toy" and then keep the 306 for everything else. It's alright, many have, nothing to be ashamed of I learn from other people's mistakes |
