(This post was last modified: 02-01-2014, 02:08 PM by ozonehostile.)
Needed a diesel again for work and that as driving the rallye around was getting painful on the wallet, so at half past ten on a Saturday night, I picked up this little gem.
2002 diablo red 306 hdi estate for the mighty fine price of £550
It's done 179k with full Peugeot service history, never missed a stamp in the book :-)
It's in the cheap tax bracket and everything works including aircon.
Bad points of the car are a small cigarette burn on the drivers seat and a tiny dent on the rear and roof. That's it. Clones are a bit tatty but who cares it's all getting changed soon
Future plans involve a phase 1 front (Yeah that's right) and in a few months it will be the recipient of the 2.1 engine.
To summarise, phase 1 xud11 estate with some tasty wheels and epic lows thrown in for good measure

Genuinely tempted to sling it in as is and see what happens. Think really i need to find an 1800 bar sensor and then it can have my old stage 2 map.
If I've got my bank holiday money and some shift allowance on my next pay I'm gonna buy the cam belt kit and probably end up slinging the engine in with a standard HDi box.
