That pulley looks like it is on it's last legs, mine was like that, and then a bit later a big shard of metal came out from the centre which can slice the cam belt, luckily mine didn't it was wedged up by the power steering pump. If it was me i would change it as soon as.
Pic of mine, and the big shard of metal......

I got my pulley off eBay for 40 something quid for a solid 307 replacement, think a few on here used that one. And I'm also pretty sure there's a thread on here somewhere with the size of the belt needed for ac removal

Sooo , its running once again!!! FFS lol, But yeah went down ECP this morning and got all my bits & bobs, Had a right PITA to get the bottom pulley off, but all come good in the end. Also done away with the AC pump aswell, as the pulley on that was making a load of noise.

Big thanks to Alex (poodle) for the help & Advice on this

Oh And I got this little lot from ECP for £67 :S work that out??? Dirt cheap???

Holy f*ck. My crankshaft pulley is looking a little worse for wear so I went on carparts4less.co.uk and it seems you can get a crankshaft pulley for £34 pounds which I am guessing is the one you've got. I know yours is an HDi but I am guessing you have fitted a DT one because the HDi ones are more fragile. But one thing that makes me nervous about that cheap crankshaft pulley is that there is another one listed as "OE quality" which is twice the price of the cheap £34 pound one! Bit suspicious.
