Wheels look sweet Mark. You used the same chap as me (Ron) for the flocking didn't you? He's very reasonable on price!
Would love be Borbets. Will you take £5 a month?! Lol Disclaimer: The above is not to be taken to heart and is probably a joke, grow up you big girl.

Lol. Just get a 0% credit card transfer me the money and then pay them £5 a month.
Yea Ron at the flock shop in gosport. Can't wait to get the wheels on.

So test for of the alloys I bought a few weeks ago, can now go buy some new rubber.
Clears the calipers and does not touch anything on the inside.

Right strange day today, went up to kris's and got the tyres fitted and the put two on the old scar so it can be moved.
There was limited space and time due to arranging the delivery of this. Needs a bit of work to secure the gearbox mounted turbo which is a td05. I would like to find out what pump and clutch is on it also. Pic of the alloys with the new tyres one. Was wondering if anyone wanted to come lend a hand next weekend, but have just realised that dumdum is having his BBQ so think people would prefer that lol.

Might give it a try.
27-07-2013, 08:38 PM
Hell, brave man lol surely it needs a big juicy vnt to spool it up?
Doesnt even own a 306.
27-07-2013, 08:40 PM
The td05 is not that big a turbo. Well it didn't seem that big when I saw it today.
Really don't want to go VNT without more knowledge.
27-07-2013, 09:02 PM
td05 is huge...its for the big 400bhp evos etc!!
brave too with standard head bolts!! Wishes for more power...
27-07-2013, 09:05 PM
I personally think its a td04, check out the serial numbers and make sure. I do agree from the pics i seen it looks a bit small.
Doesnt even own a 306.

Td05 16g I think.
28-07-2013, 10:46 PM

So no car for the forseeable future as I have lost the use of my brothers KIA.
It took over two hours to get up here this morning, I hate public transport. So finally got the dash in, I think it's all plugged in correct will find out in the not to distant future. Just need to wire up the gauges and get the engine fitted, then it'll be time to test everything and get it running.

So old engine is out, subframe removed.
Did have a pic but have deleted it. Hopefully next weekend we can get the subframe bolted up to the new car, get my Gazgolds shifted over to the new shell and make some head way with swapping some bits over onto the new engine.

10-08-2013, 09:59 PM
Hopefully lol.

Front suspension mounted, moved the car and next weekend will see about getting the engine ready for fitting. |
