Heatwrap cant be inherently flamable otherwise loads of people would have issues

That is a fair point dum, hmmmm I might just wrap it. Suggestions on wrap?

Matt providing you do it properly and protect it from soaking up oil, it will be fine! MTFU!

You can buy a spray from rallynuts made by DEI. Most people say just spray painting it works but for a couple of quid, might as well just use the proper stuff. Also stops it soaking up moisture and going mouldy.

What is it then? And what's the price?
When wrapping a exhaust you wet the wrap yeah? So when it dries it's a better seal? How many times around a section of pipe do you wrap, and is there a point where you can use to much wrap? TEAM CONROD SHITTING RALLYE!

Do some bloody work your self and google it. Look on rallynuts for the spray!
You wet it yes then overlap it. If your using 2" wrap, overlap it by 0.5". You can't wrap too much but you will find that if you use much more than 2" you will have trouble getting around the bends in it.

That's the stuff. Not too sure on the wrap though. I bought DEI stuff. It's not cheap but with something like that, I would want to use proper stuff!

DEI Wrap and the DEI paint mate, Its what Ill be using. The paint protects the wrap from soaking up shit and getting loose, it kinda glues it together a little bit.
Its not cheap. Will probably cost me £60 to do the manifold and the de-cat but i dont think cheap wrap would be as good. Youll probably need a 50ft x 1" roll for the manifold and a 15ft roll (1" or 2") for the de-cat.

Dei wrap I posted is 50mm x 15meters. I'll prob get that and the silicone shizz.

Matt the graystons stuff is pretty good. My old company used to be above there warehouse in chessington and one of the guys there used to build import imprezas to rallye and he used to swear by the stuff for quality for money!
