I did get your pm chap,
Sounds most odd about tranny, is it a known good box? If so, are you certain your linkages are working correctly? if box is unknown, sounds like it might be fooked :S

thx guys.... i think it sounds far from good but oke.. its missing the exhaust loud as f*ck now
Its running way to rich, so i wont be firing it up anymore...
EGT sensor is behind the turbo, i know its not the ideal spot, but if it would break, it wont get eaten by my turbo , wich will cost me my turbo
@ Darren, gearbox was perfect, maybe something did go wrong with the gearlinkages, Marvin will come over tomorrow and then well have a look...
It was very nice to see the car outside for a while instead of the same boring spot, one thing that really catches the attention are the brakes... they look awesome in daylight.
Tomorrow more on this...
Darren , ive send you another pm mate....

But like i said before, if you running temps high enough to cook your egt probe, then your turbo / head is already history anyway!!

^this, even if it were right up close to the turbo it'd be a bit better but 6 inches away it's gonna be nothing like the same temperature.
Maybe overkill but I'd be running 2 EGT probes on a box mounted turbo setup, one where all the runners on the manifold meet then another right in the turbo, just before the turbine.

At a guess id say something with ur turbo manifold etc is not letting you fully engage reverse, so its only going half in, hence it grinds / pops out, should be your problem

Not affraid of cooking it mate.... im afraid of breaking it, since it stands out quite high and the strutbar ( not in vid) almost touches it.

Time to undo birdshit part XXXXXIIVIVIVIVI
Ordered a licenseplatesticker some time ago, nice bit of weightsaving, hahaha
Not sure if ill be keeping it on, cause the fines are very high here in Holland messing around with your licensplate, the plate is 2 cm smaller in width.
Sorted out the intercoolerpipes, plastidipped them black, looks a lot better, will be doing the clamps as well next weekend to completely black things out.
+ i need to find a nice plate of aluminium to make up some sort of plate that goes underneath the frontbumper, its a little to open now.
And im not sure if i should fit the inner wheelarches again.
Note frontend is still completely loose and not bolted yet... hence the nice big gaps everywhere

Can't help but think the cage spoils the stealth appeal of the car
Still looks absolutely epic though.

Some more quick pics, engine bay almost finished , some small tidying up to do, fit the aux belt (custom) then its installing/securing the front/headlights/bumper etc,
Uhmm got Fluor?
Call it gay or cool.. but i like to keep my suede steeringwheel nice and clean, and im speaking from experience that without gloves it wont be nice very long, so i bought a pair of Sparco Land FIAA approved racing gloves..
Feels quite nice actually, nice grippy on the steeringwheel
Small clip i made last week, cage not fitted etc..

Heh, well swimming in cash compared to most people. But a Porsche would not have the same charm as a 306 punching above it's weight. The 306 is a working man's car, a Porsche, well, just isn't.
