Well I've had her out for a few pics and driven about 10 miles
The clutch isn't half as bad as expected. I defo need the tracking done as I've put on 2 new TREs. The mid box is vibrating on the underside of the car and the front section needs tightening up but it feels like the exhaust is restricting it badly as its just gutless past 3000rpm even though its holding its boost at 1Bar till well past 4000rpm.
The scan gauge is showing 86bhp but I know from testing that its 8% out so its actually making about 93bhp although with a de-cat, a less restrictive turbo and a FMIC I'd expect just a little more possibly just over the 100bhp mark.
Anyway I cant wait to have a map put on it and ill be a very happy bunny.
Pics and a video later, cant wait for ace on Monday

When does the turbo make boost?
The lack of power over 3k is probably down to injectors i think, has been like that since i had it, changing the maf didn't make a difference.
Tracking you can do yourself with a couple of bits of string, some axle stands and a set of calipers, be easy now they're already loose.

I did it on the tank and it's holding up ok, certainly doesnt handle weirdly any more.

I learnt the string method while using a hugely expensive laser system...
used it ever since...then taken it to places that do a 'only charge if need to adjust'...watched the figures so they cant do me over and its always been spot on

The string method was what i used before i had free access to tracking at work, tracked it at work and was under 0.5 degrees out from what i was aiming for originally, that's good enough in my eyes. 1 degree toe in (per side, so 2 degrees total) is manufacturer spec, it's to promote understeer in poor grip conditions. I'd suggest 0 degrees - i reckon you'll find the handling a bit more pleasing and it will also bring minute benefits in mpg and tyre wear.
Looks like it's all working mate, nice! When does it hit full boost?
