1.9 td engine up and running. Bosch pump, k14 @ 2 bars+ (30psi). Some big problems with the cooling of the engine but will sort out the problems in the future days.

Your boost gauge is on wrong side of the car. So is your steering wheel
Looks so much better in Matt though. I love Matt. Best colour out there. And if anything ruins it... Spray it again

Driven them both. LHD and RHD. It's not difficult to get used to driving the car on the wrong side. Changing gears with the other hand needs some getting used to.

Idle sounds a little high, not that much smoke though which is good.
Looking good. xD

Is it just me or the xud9 gearbox has an horrible gap between 2nd and 3rd? Is the hdi gearbox the same or has a closer ratio?

SonnyRoby Wrote:Is it just me or the xud9 gearbox has an horrible gap between 2nd and 3rd? Is the hdi gearbox the same or has a closer ratio? the HDi box is the same as the DT box just with a longer final drive resulting an even more tragic gap between 2nd and 3rd, its not you imagining it, they are pretty damn bad

I am now running the xud7 engine with the xud9 bosch pump and gearbox (head gone on the xud9). The xud7 gearbox doesn't have that horrible gap between 2nd and 3rd iirc. Changing the diff off the xud9 gearbox and putting it on the xud7 gearbox, won't that be better?
