Today was raising the rear beam! Was a lot harder then expected as it appears to of been done the notch method in the past and the drivers side was seized solid on both bars, we had to to take the trailing arm off and get it in a press, put ten tonne of pressure on it and also heat it up at the same time!

I think it looks loads better, raised it about 4cm

I have access to a garage with a pit. Works brilliant but pain in arse getting in and out all the time. Car has to be on stands as well because my uncle who built the pit and garage is a short arse

Well this happened yesterday:
[Image: B5D29C0E-106F-4277-B584-7C4A18486179-620...429C16.jpg]

Started to fix it, took the doorcard off and was undoing the bolts holding the motor in when I realised I had left my replacement motor at my dads work. So being held up with tape at the moment,

Tried fixing the window today at work, got the new motor in and it goes up and down, but the window falls to one side when moving. Don't think the clip is holding it tight enough

Are there any other runners or things that keep the window level in the door other than the white flaps for the side nearest the wing mirror?

Gave it a quick wash anyway

has the peg that goes into the glass itself broken? theres a plastic peg on the runner that pushes the glass up or down and the plastic ring that it goes into often cracks and would lead to the glass moving. same things happened on the sedan

what ozone said there is like a guide bit that clips onto the glass and slots on the runner on the door pillar

Thanks guys.
I think as Zakk said the plastic ring that sits in the window part is missing.
The peg is fine though. It's just not sitting tightly in the window so it is able to move easily, I will hopefully find an appropriate bung somewhere which might fix It, or il think of something.

True

Did a few little things today,

Cleaned it:
[Image: 9F8D4A9A-021E-4546-A94E-B67FA7E4D49D-150...48ECA4.jpg]
[Image: 5087E2B6-9A90-4749-ADFF-6F1F6A0DFFC1-150...7D1A31.jpg]

Secured the front bumper a bit better as it was loose.

Been trying to get my head round the window motor again. The one that's in at the moment is pretty slow and struggles to lift the window quickly so thinking a better replacement might be a good start.
3door and 5door window motors are different yes?

Changed the boost gauge piping as it was only reading 9psi. And location because I only had a short piece of pipe:
[Image: 79030399-DF84-4B12-ADBC-FA028220A64D-150...28E367.jpg]

It's still only reading 9psi which is odd as it goes really well, that's two different bits of piping and two different gauges now. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Is it kinked anywhere or got a split? Checked all boost piping from turbo to inlet?

Worst thing about black wheels... Really need to keep ontop of the tyre gel otherwise it starts to look a bit shite! And yes 3 and 5 door motors are different!

No pipe isnt kinked or spilt
It doesnt feel like it had a boost leak to drive it though, it pulls really well
Feels much quicker than my old one which was bosch t2 on 18psi and this one is still on lucas, hmmm

Hmmmm sticking gauge? Take it out and put it in someone elses that's boosting atleast then you can rule that out? I had a sticking gauge in my ph1 that wouldn't go over 6psi!

I mean you need to keep your tyres looking black otherwise they start to look bad because the the wheels are properly black but the tyres can fade :p
