Coolant Heater Golwplugs
#1
Evening.

Following on from my hijacked coolant heater for sale thread.... lol

I removed on of the plugs today to identify it for you guys. The biggest issue with removal is bending the really weak bracket underneath it, so probably best if youcan wedge something to hold that in the right place. Oh and don't try removing the plugs after removing the heater, no chance unless youve got a vice, but then I'd be worried about squashing it.

Looks pretty small!

The numbers on it are -

Beru Germany 0 100 226 375 005

Hope that helps someone anyway. Smile

I think an old rover diesel uses the right ones to fit the heater. Can't remember which one though..

Google says renault, see what you mean about them looking too long though...

EDIT: I'd say this looks more like them:

But they state that's a generic sample image, so doesn't help at all. lol

Gonna struggle measuring the cone pitch. lol

But I can measure the rest tomorow, it's at my Nans and Im at home atm.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a 10mm spanner though, think it was 12mm as I remember it being an odd size.
