The brace doesn't knock on the engine but there's a slight vibration when I pull away which I think is that pipe

Yeah lol. If i remember rightly, there is a P clip either on the front of the engine or somewhere underneath between the sump and box that holds the box in place.

B*ll*cks was out last night and it started sounding a bit worse for wear, looked under today and found a bent shock, split cv boot and a very loudly blowing exhaust

I did tom fixed it blowing from the mani-cat join and now is blowing from midpipe - backbox

Fixed the horrible vibrations today the bolts holding the cat to the manifold had pulled through so that's one thing done, next job is fit the new struts and cv joint
