I actually really like Tom, regardless of what people think he is a genuinely nice guy.

I agree with all of the above tbh, I've met him a couple of times and he seems like a nice enough bloke, just lacking in confidence. As said, everyone has problems, some worse than others.

Tom does seem like a genuinely nice guy. I think the problem people (or at least me) have is that he comes on here asking for advice, then says' oh that won't work so I won't bother'. He's very negative and it's like he doesn't actually want to consider things that could potentially be the best solution.
But yeah, he seems nice

 Aww, thanks guys. As Stephen said, just thought I'd better have a break from forum'ing. I was clearly coming across in a way that wasn't meant and annoying people unintentionally so left it for a week.
