I actually really like Tom, regardless of what people think he is a genuinely nice guy.

I agree with all of the above tbh, I've met him a couple of times and he seems like a nice enough bloke, just lacking in confidence. As said, everyone has problems, some worse than others.

he hasnt got a job so most of his time is spent helping other people are on the forum. If you had nothing exciting to do wouldnt you just annoy people on this forum?
and yeh tom is really nice. Im the closest member to him and i see him now and again. Ever since i first met him he has known what hes doing!

Tom does seem like a genuinely nice guy. I think the problem people (or at least me) have is that he comes on here asking for advice, then says' oh that won't work so I won't bother'. He's very negative and it's like he doesn't actually want to consider things that could potentially be the best solution.
But yeah, he seems nice
